SUMMARY: Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the City of Merritt (the “City”) invites Proposals from suitability qualified and experienced civil construction firms to perform the construction services for the City’s proposed Claybanks RV Park Reconstruction (the ‘Project’), that focuses on restoring the infrastructure within the existing RV park located at 1302 Voght Street, Merritt, BC to a functioning state following flooding during November 2021. The Project will include; new onsite water and sanitary mains throughout the site with individual services to the RV lots and buildings, an onsite stormwater management system and electrical servicing throughout the site. The Project also includes the construction of vehicle access roads, parking lot and RV stalls. Full details of the Work required is provided in Part A of this RFP. Contract Time: The following are key milestone dates required for the Work:
Form of Contract: The Contract placed as a result of this RFP will be the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2009 Platinum Unit Price Contract, together with supplementary conditions as detailed in Part C of this RFP. Full details of the Work required is provided in Part A of this RFP.
