SUMMARY:

Through this Request for Proposals, the District of Peachland seeks proposals from organizations that are experienced in the provision of dam engineering and associated dam safety consulting services in accordance with the British Columbia dam regulatory environment, to provide such services for a variety of dam-related projects that the District may require over the next three years.

As a result of this RFP, the District seeks to contract with a preferred consultant for the services, that will enter into a ‘Standing Offer’ agreement with the District to perform the services, on an ‘if, as and when required’ basis, over a 3-year term. There will be no minimum or guaranteed quantity of services under the Standing Offer Agreement. The District may issue separate competitions for projects where the consulting services are estimated to exceed $360,000 (excluding GST) at its sole option.  Should the preferred consultant contracted not have resources available to perform services to the District’s required timeline for a specific project, then the District may execute a 2^nd ‘Standing Offer’ agreement with the 2^nd highest-ranked Respondent from this RFP in order to complete those services.
