SUMMARY: Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the City of Merritt (the “City”) invites Proposals from suitability qualified and experienced companies, interested in performing repairs to erosion that occurred near the Middlesborough Bridge, along Voght Street in Merritt, BC. The Work includes supply and placement of rip-rap, earthworks, and associated works. Full details of the Work required is provided in Part A of this RFP. A summary of the Work is as follows: Location: The Place of the Work is along the Coldwater River, in the vicinity of the Middlesborough Bridge, along Voght Street in Merritt, BC, as shown on the Drawings. Contract Time: The following are key milestone dates required for the Work:
Form of Contract: The Contract placed as a result of this RFP will be the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2009 Unit Price Contract, together with supplementary conditions as detailed in Part C of this RFP. |
