Summary:

Through this Request for Proposals, the Corporation of the District of Peachland requests solution-based proposals for replacement of the heating and cooling system at the Peachland Historic School located at 5684 Beach Avenue, Peachland.  The replacement work will require the selected contractor to work with the District and tenants of the building, in order to accommodate tenant activities during the onsite HVAC works.

Key details for the project are as follows:

• Place of the Work: the location of the work is the Peachland Historic School, 5684 Beach Avenue, Peachland, BC.
• Schedule:  all work for this project must be complete (with the new HVAC system operational and ‘Ready for Takeover’) no later than May 31, 2025.  The District anticipates executing a contract with the successful Respondent to this RFP, no later than February 14^th 2025.
• Building Existing Plans: no drawings or plans of the existing building HVAC system are available.  Respondents to this RFP are therefore required to attend the Place of the Work and physically view the existing HVAC system and building, prior to execution of a contract. Respondents are strongly encouraged to attend the Site Meeting in order to achieve this.
