SUMMARY: Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the City of Merritt (the “City”) invites Proposals from suitability qualified and experienced civil construction firms to perform the construction services for the City’s proposed Voght St and Coldwater River Watermain Crossing (the ‘Project’), that focuses on extending the watermain along Voght St and crossing under the Coldwater River. The Project is in the City of Merritt and will connect the existing water main on Voght St at the intersection of Priest Ave with the existing water main on Lindley Creek Rd near the intersection with Voght St. Full details of the Work required is provided in Part A of this RFP. A summary of the Work is as follows: Contract Time: The following are key milestone dates required for the Work:
Form of Contract: The Contract placed as a result of this RFP will be the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2009 Platinum Unit Price Contract, together with supplementary conditions as detailed in Part C of this RFP. Full details of the Work required is provided in Part A of this RFP.
