SUMMARY:

Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the District of Peachland (the “District”) invites Proposals from suitability qualified and experienced companies, interested in performing corridor improvement works along Clements Crescent in Peachland, BC. 

Full details of the Work required is provided in Part A of this RFP.  A summary of the Work is as follows:

Location: The Place of the Work is Clements Crescent and the newly created Wild Goose Street, in Peachland, BC, as shown on the Drawings.

Maximum Budget: No maximum budget is being stated for this RFP.

Contract Time: The following are key milestone dates required for the Work:

• The Work may commence anytime on or after: March 10, 2025
• Substantial Performance of the Work must be achieved no later than: May 30, 2025
• Total Performance of the Work must be achieved no later than 30 calendar days following Substantial Performance.
• A portion of the Work is located in-front of Peachland Elementary School.  In order to minimize disruption to school activities, the following additional Work schedule restrictions shall apply:
  • Road and sidewalk works (except paving) that are adjacent to the school (including to the furthest West extent of works on Clements Crescent) shall occur during spring break only (March 15 to March 30, 2025). 
  • Paving works that are adjacent to the school may occur outside of the spring break window noted above, and after asphalt plants begin their operating season, but such works must occur outside of regular school operating hours.
  • All other Work East of the school can occur anytime.

Form of Contract: The Contract placed as a result of this RFP will be the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2019 Edition Unit Price Contract, together with supplementary conditions as detailed in Part C of this RFP.
