SUMMARY: Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the City of Merritt (the “City”) invites Proposals from suitability experienced civil contracting firms, to perform construction services for the City’s proposed ‘Garcia Street Turnaround’, that focuses on the earthworks and roadworks required to ensure vehicle turn around is facilitated at the southern dead-end of Garcia Street. Full details of the Work required is provided in Part A of this RFP. Location: The Place of the Work is the Southern dead-end of Garcia Street, Merritt, BC. Contract Time: The following are key milestone dates required for the Work:
Form of Contract: The Contract placed as a result of this RFP will be the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2019 Edition Unit Price Contract, together with supplementary conditions as detailed in Part C of this RFP. Full details of the Work required is provided in Part A of this RFP.
